The sheer piling up
of successful activities,
each appropriate,
each concentrated,
has put the body
in a slightly hagard stare♣

It was eased by removing the soles
from the shoes
from the bench to the car;
the episode of lost/found back
was a happy ending
when the right hand
successfully probed
the right pull-over pocket,
a present of hers♣
